Alyse LaHue is in a sweet spot, basking in the World Cup championship of the U.S. Women’s national soccer team — so much so that she is guardedly optimistic that women’s professional soccer will be able to secure a long-term future. LaHue is general manager of the Chicago Red Stars professional women’s soccer team in the National Women’s Soccer League. Two previous leagues dissolved in the past 15 years, but LaHue tells Sandra Guy why she envisions success now.”
